Imagine if research were told to be as easy as brewing a cup of tea – suddenly, it becomes less daunting and more enjoyable, just like a simple three-step chai process.

When the Delhi Government launched its state board and introduced a Visual Arts curriculum for higher secondary students, they entrusted the task of writing and designing the curriculum to Srishti Manipal Institute. Thirty-two students, including myself, were selected to contribute to this endeavor, each tasked with developing a chapter for grades 9 and 10.

I had the opportunity to work on the unit titled "Develop Research Practices." Here, I aimed to demystify research by likening it to the familiar ritual of making chai. By presenting research as a relatable and engaging experience, my goal was to encourage students to explore beyond the confines of the classroom, fostering a playful approach to learning. Adhering to an editorial style guide ensured consistency and coherence throughout the textbook, maintaining its professional quality while infusing it with creativity and accessibility.

Since the project is still in progress, we are unable to share the entire output at the moment.
